They/Them - Over 10 Years of Martial Arts Training and a 2nd Degree Black Belt at The Blue Dragon Dojang. Competitive fighter in Oh Do Kwan. 2 time Grand Champ at the Mid-Atlantic All Female Karate Open in 2017 & 2018 with 1st place in forms and 1st place in sparring. In 2019, Sally Rose competed at the King George IsshinRyu Open Championships, as there were no other women in her division, they fought in the Men's Advanced Division placing 3rd in sparring and first in forms. With a background in American Boxing and Korean Karate Sally Rose continues to train at the Blue Dragon Academy. Intersectional feminist, activist, musician and performer with both Shagwüf & The Sally Rose Band.

Background in Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu, Kung Fu, Judo, Qigong and Korean Karate. Devout husband and father of two girls and one boy.

She/Her - Christina is our stylish secretary, social media and marketing queen and graphic design extraordinaire. Both Christina and her partner, Nick, have put in countless hours taking photos, video and creating the aesthetic of F.L.A.G. behind the scenes and at workshops.

She/Her - Owns and manages five local businesses.  Assistant Instructor AKA Femmerad, 2nd Degree Black Belt, practicing Oh Do Kwan since 2016. Jamie is our secret weapon; quiet, understated and absolutely lethal.
