Board members bring and apply perspective, life experience, and specialized skills that continually inform our work to ensure we are providing the best resources and education to our communities through our workshops. Ideally, among the skills and expertise we are seeking are: Public Relations, Fundraising, Marketing, Grant Writing, Strategic Planning, Finance, and Volunteer Coordination. Board members are expected to be an ambassador and champion for our organization.

Duties include: Attending one board meeting per month, volunteering at 3 workshops per year, and supporting FLAG initatives for fundraising and development.
