About The Event

Camp Corduroy 2019 is a FREE 2-night music & performance festival with camping and walking/mountain biking trails at beautiful Camp Corduroy in Louisa, Va, just 25 minutes from Charlottesville. This weekend of camping, food, and music is FREE to the public and was founded to celebrate our local/regional music scene and raise awareness of near and dear nonprofit organizations: The Front Porch, The Nature Conservancy, and Fight Like a Grrrl.

LINEUP:

August 24th (Saturday) - Gates open at 4 pm. Campers welcome at noon (no fires!). Music starts at 6 pm.

6:00 to 7:10 Dropping Julia

7:30 to 8:40 Will Overman

9:00 to 10:10 Shagwuf

10:30 to 12:00 The Hackensaw Boys

August 25th (Sunday) - Gates open at 5 pm. Music starts at 6 pm.

7:00 to 7:40 Devon Sproule and Diane Cluck (duets)

8:00 to 9:30 The Near Misses, an all-female original electropop opera about near death experiences

All weekend is free to the public. Camping is FREE!

Beverages and food for sale:

Beer - $2

Wine - $3

Designer water - $1

Spring water - free

Meals (probably vegetarian and meat chili) - $5 for first 100 attendees (each night)

Various snacks (munchies, fruit, and granola bars) are free!

Mountain biking and walking on trails at Corduroy Farm offered (maps will be available).

Charities to receive benefits on August 24 are "Fight Like a Grrrl!" and "The Nature Conservancy of Virginia". Charities to receive benefits on August 25 are "The Front Porch" and "The Nature Conservancy of Virginia."

This event is limited to 300 attendees so be sure to come early and enjoy the full show!
